Case Study - Nate James Content Managed Website
Searchlight was asked by Telekin Media to add dynamic content and a Content Management System to up and coming R'n'B Star Nate James' website. We were given a static site, and added a news section that the client can update from anywhere. His management regularly use the Control Panel to add news whilst on tour and can even do so via their mobile phones. Similarly, they can add new gigs to the gigs page via their control panel.
Searchlight also added a Dynamic Contact form which directs mail to different people, and performed advanced Search Engine Optimisation on the site propelling Nate's site straight to the top of Google.
The website and it's interaction with fans has earned Nate a nomination as Best Urban Artist at next month's BT Digital Music Awards. The awards are designed to recognise the success of UK music companies and artists in reaching out to music fans via digital platforms.
